On 3 July 2024, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, welcomed 16 students from the National University of Singapore (NUS) who participate in the "Sustainability in Southeast Asia: Study Trip to Thailand" course led by Professor Seow Teck Keong.
Ambassador Ureerat emphasized the cordial relationship between Thailand and Singapore that covered all aspect of cooperation through bilateral, ASEAN and multilateral levels.
Thailand and Singapore shared their views on the collaboration and support among the Southeast Asian countries, particularly in capacity building, to achieve the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
On this occasion, the NUS students visited the Exhibition on the Royal Initiatives to commemorate the Auspicious Occasion of the Celebrations of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 28th July 2024, at the Royal Thai Embassy's hall. The Exhibition features Thailand’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) that portrays the Royal Initiatives Development Projects and their benefits to the peoples and communities.
