On 3 July 2025, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, welcomed Mr. Pattarawut Persalae, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Skill Development, and his delegation during their study visit to Singapore under a knowledge enhancement programme for high-potential personnel. The programme aims to develop model personnel equipped with digital skills and modern technologies to support national workforce development. Also present at the meeting was Mr. Wutthisak Pathomsart, Minister Counsellor of the Office of Labour Affairs of Thailand to Singapore.

On this occasion, the Ambassador gave a briefing on Singapore’s human resource development strategies and labour upskilling initiatives. Both sides also exchanged views on ways to enhance the capabilities of Thai workers to better meet the demands of the Singaporean labour market.
