On 16 May 2025, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore welcomed Mr. Zaw Minn Aung, Chargé d'Affaires, Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Singapore, at the Ambassador's residence on the occasion of his assumption of duty.
Both sides discussed bilateral relations with Singapore, recent political developments in Myanmar, the situation following the earthquake on 28 March 2025, humanitarian assistance from various stakeholders, and the ongoing cooperation within ASEAN.
