On 16 May 2025, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, attended the Charity Gala Dinner "An Extra•Ordinary Evening: Flavours & Origins", as a Guest of Honour, alongside the Ambassadors of Japan and Switzerland, and Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Ireland, held at PARKROYAL on Beach Road.

The event, co-hosted by Ms. Wee Wei Ling, Co-Founder of Extraordinary People Ltd., and H.E. Mr. Agustin García-López Loaeza, Ambassador of Mexico and Dean of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps of Singapore, successfully raised significant funds to support children and individuals with special needs in Singapore.

Ambassador Ureerat’s participation features a pre-recorded cooking demonstration of "Thai Blue Sapphires in Coconut Milk," a unique take on a beloved Thai dessert "Tubtim Grob", which was subsequently served to the distinguished guests.
On this occasion, Ambassador Ureerat delivered a heartfelt speech underscoring the importance of inclusivity and the remarkable work of Extraordinary People in fostering a society where everyone feels valued and empowered.

The Royal Thai Embassy extends its sincere gratitude to all attendees, sponsors, and partners who contributed to this meaningful cause. Special appreciation goes to Mr. Phongpiwich Thuatraiphop, CEO of Yayee, a distinguished Peranakan fashion brand from Phuket, for adding a vibrant cultural dimension to the Thai Cultural Booth at the event.

The Embassy wishes to convey its profound thanks to the renowned Thai artist, Lolay (Mr. Taweesak Srithongdee), for his generous support for the captivating painting "Tiger." The auction of this artwork significantly contributed to the fundraising efforts, with the total funds raised from the auction exceeding an impressive 250,000 Singapore Dollars.
