On 1 April 2025, H.E. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, participated in a video recording of a Thai cooking demonstration, which will be featured at "An Extra•Ordinary Evening: Flavours & Origins" Charity Gala Dinner organized by Extra•Ordinary People on Friday, 16 May 2025, at PARKROYAL on Beach Road.
 
Ambassador Ureerat presented "Thai Blue Sapphires in Coconut Milk," a unique variation of the popular Thai dessert "Tub Tim Grob," using natural butterfly pea flower extract to create a beautiful blue hue, showcasing the elegance and uniqueness of Thai cuisine. This dessert has also been recognized by CNN as one of the 50 most delicious desserts in the world and is easily replicable at home.
 
Extra•Ordinary People is a charity dedicated to supporting and empowering children and individuals with special needs to build an inclusive and caring society. The charity gala dinner will be co-hosted by Madam Wee Wei Ling, Co-Founder of Extraordinary People Ltd., and H.E. Agustín García-López Loaeza, Ambassador of Mexico to Singapore and Dean of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps of Singapore, to raise funds in support of the organization's activities.
 
Ambassador Ureerat expressed her appreciation to Extra•Ordinary People for its tireless work to create an inclusive and diverse society and emphasized that this cooking demonstration would be a meaningful contribution of the Royal Thai Embassy to raise awareness of the organization's efforts to build a more inclusive community.
