On 12 April 2024, Ambassador Ureerat Chareontoh welcomed Mrs. Tanunporn Tangpithakkul, Managing Director, PTT International Trading Pte. Ltd. (PTTT), who paid a courtesy call on the Thai New Year's occasion and congratulated the Ambassador's assumption of duty in Singapore.

Ambassador Ureerat reiterated her intention to further strengthen collaboration between the government and business sectors to expand economic relations between Thailand and Singapore, especially in energy security and green energy.

PTTT has been a keen supporter and participant in the Embassy’s CSR activities. Both sides also discussed about the upcoming activities to celebrate the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King's 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 28th July 2024, as well as activities to empower the Thai community in Singapore and to widen business opportunities in Singapore. The Embassy will also organise various activities to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Singapore in 2025.
