Ambassador welcomes delegation from Thailand’s Ministry of Social Development and Human Security

On 13 August 2026, H.E. Mrs. Waraphannee Damrongmanee, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand to Singapore, welcomed Mrs. Siriluck Meemak, Social Development Techinical Advisor, and a 16-member delegation from Thailand’s Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS). The delegation visited Singapore from 12–14 August 2026 to attend bilateral meetings and undertake a study visit on social and family development with Singapore’s Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) under the Thailand–Singapore Civil Service Exchange Programme (CSEP).

 

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on key issues, including Singapore’s policies to support families, children, and vulnerable groups, ways to further strengthen Thailand–Singapore cooperation on social development, including the proposed conclusion of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and the application of digital technology to enhance the delivery of social services to the public.
