On 2 July 2026, H.E. Mrs. Waraphannee Damrongmanee, Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to Singapore, paid a courtesy call on

H.E. Mr. Medardo G. Macaraig, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Singapore, at the Philippine Embassy.

The two Ambassadors reaffirmed the longstanding friendship between Thailand and the Philippines and exchanged views on the excellent bilateral relations and close people-to-people ties between the two countries. They also discussed the importance of ASEAN unity and cooperation in addressing global challenges, while highlighting the value of regional solidarity and economic interconnectedness in promoting peace, stability, and shared prosperity.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for both Ambassadors to exchange experiences and practical insights on serving as foreign envoys in Singapore, including useful tips for advancing diplomatic engagement and fostering closer ties with the host country.
