Ambassador welcomes Naval Chief Commander during official visit

Admiral Adoong Pan-iam, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy officially visited the Republic of Singapore from 13-15 August 2024. On August 14, 2024, he paid a courtesy call on Rear Admiral Sean Wat, Commander-in-Chief of the Singapore Navy, and Vice Admiral Aaron Beng, Commander-in-Chief of the Singapore Armed Forces, at the Ministry of Defense of Singapore, followed by the call on Dr. Ng Eng Hen, Minister of Defense of Singapore.
On this occasion, Ambassador Ureerat Chareontoh attended the ceremony where the Meritorious Service Medal (MSM), was presented to the Chief Naval Commander by the Singapore Defense Minister on behalf of the President of Singapore.
On 15 August 2024, the Ambassador hosted a lunch in honor of the Chief Naval Commander and his delegation. They also discussed on the bilateral relations between Thailand and Singapore, with a focus on the security cooperation where Thailand and Singapore have long maintained a strong relationship and ongoing cooperation at both national and military levels. The armed forces of the two nations frequently engage in contact and exchange of visits.
