Ambassador expressed her appreciation for the Rockefeller Foundation’s long-standing contributions to Thailand, particularly in the areas of public health, medicine, and development cooperation, as well as strengthening Thailand’s public health system. She also noted the significant achievements resulting from the 1964 Memorandum of Understanding between Thailand and the Foundation, citing collaborative efforts such as the "Empowering Climate Resilient Communities and Livelihoods" project and the “Regenerative Agriculture in ASEAN: Promoting Nature-Positive Solutions for Rice Production (REGA-ASEAN)” initiative. In her concluding remarks, Ambassador Ureerat expressed hope for continued collaboration between TICA and the Rockefeller Foundation in achieving sustainable development goals.

 

The AsiaXchange 2024 Conference, organized by the Rockefeller Foundation, is taking place amid the ongoing General Debate of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA79). The conference is being held under the theme "Accelerating an Inclusive Green Transition for Asia: A Systems Approach to Climate Action".
