This year, TAT brought 32 Thai tourism companies to engage in trade negotiations with buyers and connect with 13,000 visitors from 132 countries. Thailand's participation in this event provides a good opportunity to promote the Ignite Thailand’s Tourism Policy, enhance cooperation in sports tourism, explore new air routes between potential cities in Thailand and Singapore, and to position Thailand as the “Hub of ASEAN.”
During the event, Ambassador Ureerat hosted a dinner in honor of the Minister and the Governor, where they celebrated Thailand receiving the Most Popular Destination Award from
Trip.com. The dinner also discussed an opportunity for future tourism prospects for Thailand in Singapore.
