On 13 May 2024, Mr. Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Group Chief Executive Officer and President of Bangchak Corporation Plc (BCP) and senior executives paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore at the Ambassador's residence, Royal Thai Embassy, to introduce the BCP and discuss on energy business in Singapore.
The BCP has set up the BCPT Pte. Ltd. in Singapore since 2017. The company has actively involved in the trading of petroleum commodities, encompassing a diverse range of crude oil, feed stock, petroleum products and petrochemicals, as well as various specialty components, including biofuels.
On this occasion, Ambassador Ureerat reiterated a vital role of private sector in energy security and and in strengthening Thailand – Singapore economic relations. The Embassy welcomes the achievements of the BCPT in Singapore and stands ready to support Thai businesses in Singapore.
