The festival aims to promote and showcase Muaythai, which is not only a unique and inclusive contact sport and martial art but also a reflection of Thai cultural values. The event will provide Muaythai athletes in Singapore with a safe and competitive platform to hone their skills and elevate their standards to an international level.
The Royal Thai Embassy is fully committed to working closely with all stakeholders and partners in Singapore to promote Muaythai. Beyond being a sport and martial art, Muaythai embodies cultural values and serves as an important diplomatic tool for Thailand to enhance people-to-people understanding and friendly relations with countries worldwide. The popularity of Muaythai in Singapore is on the rise, with over 50 Muaythai gyms currently operating nationwide and widely practiced by Singaporeans and foreigners residing in the country.
