On 25 April 2025, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, welcomed a delegation of 11 officers and cadets from the Thai Merchant Marine Training Center, led by Captain Thanawat Nithiteeraphat, Master of the M.V. Sakhon Wisai, under the Merchant Marine Training Center, Marine Department, Ministry of Transport.

 

This courtesy call provided a good opportunity for the merchant marine cadets to learn about the role of the Embassy in promoting bilateral cooperation between Thailand and Singapore in various dimensions, as well as the Embassy's role to facilitate and support the education and training of Thai officials and students in Singapore, which is a major global hub in trade, investment, finance, logistics and maritime transportation.
