On 18 August 2026, H.E. Mrs. Waraphannee Damrongmanee, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Singapore, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Cao Zhongming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Singapore at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Singapore.

 

On this occasion, Ambassador Waraphannee signed the condolence book on the passing of H.E. Mr. Zhu Rongji, former Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, and conveyed her condolences to the Government and people of China.

 

During the meeting, the two Ambassadors exchanged views on the close and longstanding relations between Thailand and China, which continue to be strengthened through high-level exchanges. They also discussed their respective cooperation with Singapore and within the ASEAN framework, as well as regional security issues and developments.
