On 17 January 2025, H.E. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador, attended the opening ceremony of the Manufacturing Day Summit 2025, organized by the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF). The event was presided over by Mr. Alvin Tan, Minister of State for Trade and Industry (MTI) and Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY), as the Guest of Honor.

 

The summit focused on advancing high-tech manufacturing industries with a human-centered approach, while building an ecosystem that supports technological development and innovation. The goal is to propel the industry toward Singapore Industry 5.0, which integrates cutting-edge technology with sustainable development and enhanced quality of life for the population.

 

The Manufacturing Day Summit 2025 served as a significant platform for exchanging ideas and innovations to help drive the growth of the manufacturing sector in Singapore and globally in the digital era.
