On 25 April 2013, Assoc. Prof. Corrine Phuangkasem, Director of Training Program of Thammasat University Research and Consultancy Institute (TU-RAC), led a group of 113 local administrative officials from 22 provinces in Thailand who participate in the “Preparation for entering the ASEAN Community by Local Administrative Agencies” course in making a courtesy call on Mr. Marut Jitpatima, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore. The group also received a briefing on ASEAN Community by Dr. Termsak Chalermpalanupap and Dr. Aekapol Chongvilaivan from the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) and Ms. Walaya Jariyadham, First Secretary for Political Affairs. Joining the Ambassador in welcoming the group were Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana, Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr. Nipon Petchpornprapas, Minister Counsellor, and embassy staff.
