On 22 February 2016, H.E. Mr. Thongchai Chasawath, Ambassador of Thailand, and members of Team Thailand in Singapore, attended a merit-making ceremony at Wat Anand Metyarama Thai Theravada Temple to commemorate "Magha Puja Day," with many Thai and Singaporean Buddhists attending the ceremony.
