On 24 June 2024 Mr. Taechat Apichit, Manager – Strategy and Investment, Banpu NEXT Co., Ltd. paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, and introduced Banpu NEXT’s business in Thailand and its investment in Singapore. They also exchanged views on Singapore policies in the global context.

Banpu NEXT Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of Banpu Group, operates a clean energy technology business. The company aligns its operation for Green Energy in Thailand and Asia Pacific. It has been invested in many startups in Singapore such as EV battery, E-bike and battery-recycle.

On this occasion, Ambassador Ureerat shared her views on the global trends on digital economy and sustainability that reflect on national policies of Singapore such as energy security to push forward green energy, food security to reduce carbon emission, and the upskill/ reskill for workforce to serve future market trends, digital economy, urban heat mitigation for sustainable environment, and resilience amidst geopolitical tensions.
