On March 1, 2024, Mr. Wutthisak Pathomsart, Minister Counselor (Labour), paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Singapore. On this occasion, they discussed about current Thai labour statistics and future trends, obstacles for Thai workers in Singapore, illegal workers from Thailand in Singapore, as well as cooperation in organising joint activities such as the annual training of Thai labour volunteers (March 3, 2024), Songkran Day Celebration (March 31, 2024), Labour Day activities, and initiatives to educate Thai workers about Singapore’s labour laws.
