On March 3, 2024, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Singapore, presided over the closing ceremony of the training of labour volunteers for the year 2024, which was organised by the Office of Labour Affairs at the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore. During the ceremony, Ambassador Ureerat Chareontoh presented awards and training certificates to around 70 labour volunteers who participated in the training and delivered closing remarks by emphasising their vital role in enabling the provision of extensive care and assistance to all Thai workers in Singapore. In addition, she thanked the volunteers for their diligent work, especially their support towards the Embassy’s past and upcoming activities such as the Songkran Festival, the Thai constitutional referendum, and activities to commemorate the 72nd birthday anniversary of His Majesty the King. During the training, the participants also learned about Singapore's labour laws and consular services provided by the Embassy, as well as a new initiative on transferring/certifying work experience gained in Singapore.
