On 7 March 2024, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand to Singapore paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Sengkeo Pouangpadith, Ambassador of Lao PDR to Singapore, as Lao PDR is the ASEAN Chair 2024. Both sides exchanged views on the close and cordial ties between Thailand and Lao PDR, as well as the relations with Singapore on various fronts, including political and security, economic and people-to-people ties.
