On March 8, 2024, Mrs. Malinee Srinara, President of the Thai Association Singapore, along with Committee Members, paid a courtesy call to H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Singapore, at the Embassy.
The discussion aimed at enhancing cooperation in public diplomacy, where the Thai Association Committee Members expressed their deep appreciation for the Embassy's continuous support, particularly on consular affairs and public engagement. Ambassador reaffirmed the Embassy's commitment to fostering close ties with the Thai communities in Singapore through proactive and inclusive engagement.
Thai Association also expressed its readiness to participate in the Embassy's upcoming Songkran Festival, scheduled to take place at the Royal Thai Embassy grounds on 31 March 2024 to celebrate Thailand's Songkran, recognized as UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage.
