On 24 June 2024, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, the Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, graciously welcomed Mr. Pat Boonnitipat, the Director, and Mrs. Usha Seamkhum, the leading actress, to the Ambassador’s Residence to celebrate the resounding success of the film “Lahn Ma” or “How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies”. Representatives from GDH 599 Co. Ltd. and Golden Village Pictures Pte Ltd also attended the working dinner.
Ambassador Ureerat congratulated the "Lahn Ma" team for the overwhelming success and impact it left to the general public in Singapore. The Director and his team expressed their appreciation for the Embassy’s generous support in promoting the film since the Premier screening, contributing to the film's popularity and the highest-earning Thai movie in Singapore.
On 25 June 2024, Ambassador Ureerat also attended the celebration for “Lahn Ma” at the Folks Collective Thai Restaurant. She had an opportunity to discuss with Ms. Clara Cheo, CEO of Golden Village Pictures, about the success of the movie which reflected shared values of the Thais and Singaporeans on the importance of family bonds and future collaborations between the Embassy and the Golden Village Pictures.
