On Thursday 20 April 2017, the Royal Thai Embassy, Singapore, organised a Mobile Consular Unit at Homestay Management Pte Ltd. for Thai workers. Approximately 50 Thai workers at Jurong Penjuru Dormitory 1 participated in the activities. Mr. Chairat Sirivat, Chargé d' Affaires, Mrs. Norawan Chasawath, Spouse of Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, and Mrs. Thitiporn Chirasawadi, Minister Counsellor together with officers from Royal Thai Embassy provided advices and consultation on consular services including the Thai ID card and passport issuance. The event was co-sponsored by the Office of Labour Affairs, Singapore. A basic medical consultation, was also conducted for the group of Thai labours.
