Royal Thai Embassy organised Mobile Consular Unit at Tuas View and Westlite Toh Kuan

On Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 September 2016, the Royal Thai Embassy, Singapore, organised a Mobile Consular Unit at Tuas View and Westlite Toh Kuan Dormitory for Thai workers. Approximately 150 Thai workers at Tuas View Dormitory and 50 Thai workers at Westlite Toh Kuan Dormitory participated in the activities, which included consular advice and consultation services as well as the Thai ID card and passport issuance service. The Royal Thai Embassy’s team led by Mr. Chairat Sirivat, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission, along with the Embassy’s officials and Consular staff. The event was co-sponsored by the Office of Labour Affairs, Singapore. A basic medical consultation, particularly on prevention and protection from the Zika virus was also conducted for the group of Thai labours.The event was also attended by officers from the Social Service Office of Thailand, Ministry of Labour led by Mr. Ruxsak Chotchaisathit, Deputy Secretary-General and acting Adviser on Efficiency, Social Security
