On Friday 26 August 2016 at 16.00 hrs., Mr. Chairat Sirivat, Chargé d'affaires participated in and addressed keynote at the Opening Ceremony of the Royal Project Foundation exhibition in NTUC FairPrice Area. The event was presided over by H.S.H. Prince Bhisatej Rajani, Chairman of the Royal Project Foundation, Thailand. Mr. Tng Ah Yiam, Deputy CEO, NTUC FairPrice Co-operative Ltd. also attended the ceremony. The exhibition, held during 26-28 August 2016, is intended to commemorate His Majesty the King’s gracious as well as to build awareness of hill tribe products from the Royal Project operation areas amongst international and Singapore consumers. Various products under the Royal Project Foundation including Good Agricultural Practices and organic vegetables, Arabica coffee bean, tea, processed food and Royal Project handicrafts were also displayed and sold to audiences. The event also intended to pave the way of build consumer confidence on quality and safety of the Royal Project products.
