On 19 March 2013, H.E. Marut Jitpatima, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore presented funding support to the Thai Association (Singapore), Thai Chef Association (Singapore), Friends of Thai Workers Association and Thai language Program, National University of Singapore. The funding support will contribute to the activities that strengthen the unity of Thai community in Singapore as well as the Thai cultural activities and projects through out 2013. The three associations and the Thai Language program expressed their appreciations to the Royal Thai Embassy while Ambassador Marut asserted the Embassy’s readiness to support their activities in the 2013 calendar and expressed his thanks for their contribution to the Thai community and for their role in the promotion of Thai culture in the previous years.
