Songkran Festival 2026: The Ultimate Family Splash

A huge THANK YOU to the over 8,000 friends—from the Thai community, our Singaporean hosts, and visitors from around the globe—who joined us this past Sunday, 29 March, to create such an incredible atmosphere of smiles and laughter!

This year’s celebration was extra special as we honored Songkran’s recognition by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. We leveled up the fun with expanded zones and activities for all ages, truly bringing everyone together as one big family.

Highlights of the Celebration:

• The Spirit of Songkran: Mrs. Chonlatee Chanrachakul, Chargé d’Affaires,a.i, officially opened the event, highlighting Songkran as a symbol of gratitude, family unity, and the refreshing power of water—representing kindness and the enduring friendship between Thailand, Singapore, and the world.

• Non-Stop Family Fun: From the massive Kiztopia bouncy castles and the crowd-favorite "Dunk Tank" by TAT Singapore, to the high-energy Muay Thai showcases by Eminent Gym, there was never a dull moment!

• A Taste of Thailand: 15 of Singapore’s top Thai restaurants served up authentic flavors, perfectly paired with vibrant Thai musical performances.
