On 24 August 2023, H.E. Mr. Chutintorn Gongsakdi, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, together with Team Thailand attended the Opening Ceremony of "Amazing Thailand…Craft your Journey" at Suntec City, Tower 3&4, organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in Singapore. At the ceremony, Mr. Tanes Petsuwan, Deputy Governor of the TAT for International Marketing (Asia and South Pacific) also attended.

A Thai contemporary dance and fashion show by honorary models led by M.L. Piyawan Gongsakdi, spouse of the Ambassador were presented at the opening event.

"Amazing Thailand…Craft your Journey", which caters for locals and expatriates in Singapore until 27 August 2023, is a great opportunity for new and repeat travellers to explore new attractions and exciting experiences in Thailand that can be tailor-made for each traveller.

Last November, we successfully hosted the Thai Festival 2022 at the Royal Thai Embassy, marking a post-COVID come back with over 20,000 attendees. Today, we gather for another splendid Thai event here in Singapore, presenting Thailand Week 2023 – a collaborative effort between the Thai Trade Centre in Singapore and the private sector. Our goal is to captivate all – locals, expatriates, visitors and tourists, – unveiling Thai businesses and products to a broader audience, right in front of your eyes.

Thailand Week 2023 spans from 24th to 27th of August. During this event, enjoy Thai products, from commodities to delectable food and beverage.

The exhibition features up to 60 booths, showcasing a diverse array of products including food, drinks, fruit, souvenirs, clothing, beauty products and spa offerings. Moreover, you will also find Singaporean importers and Thai restaurants to add more delight to the event, offering authentic flavors just like in Thailand.

In addition, the "Amazing Thailand … Craft your Journey" event at Suntec City's East Atrium, showcases our travel services to Thailand. For Muay Thai enthusiasts, the Muay Thai Festival at the Fountain of Wealth on the 26th of August is also not to be missed.

Thailand Week 2023 symbolizes our commitment to strengthen economic ties and cultural exchanges between Thailand and Singapore. My gratitude goes to all participants, businesses and supporters.
