The Royal Thai Embassy, in collaboration with the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), hosted the Exhibition on the Royal Initiatives to commemorate the Auspicious Occasion of the Celebrations of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 28th July 2024.
On 19th June 2024, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, welcomed members of the diplomatic corps, representatives from the government agencies of Singapore, International Organisations and NGOs, academia, and private sectors in Singapore to the Exhibition featuring Royal Initiatives Development Projects and their benefits to the communities.
The Ambassador expressed her appreciation to TICA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand for their collaboration and generous support to this exhibition.
During her remarks, the Ambassador highlighted the alignment of Thailand’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) with Singapore’s Green Plan 2030, illustrating how both nations integrate sustainable practices into national and regional development. Both Thailand and Singapore are committed to the ASEAN Community Vision 2045 and actively support regional efforts towards sustainable development, sharing best practices to tackle challenges such as climate change and social inclusion.
The showcased development projects include: the Kaset Wichaya Project (Ban Kong Hae Agricultural Area Development), the Royal-initiated Nong Ueng Area Development Project, the Royal Initiative Volunteer Project, the Royal-initiated Water Source Development Project, and the Royal-initiated Area Development Project.
