On 27 April 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy organized a special activity in collaboration with Gardens by the Bay, to provide an opportunity for representatives from various Thai associations in Singapore to visit the "Orchids from the Land of Smiles" exhibition at the Cloud Forest.

 

This event was part of the celebrations for the 60th anniversary of Thailand-Singapore diplomatic relations, with over 70 interested individuals participating.

 

On this occasion, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, welcomed the attendees and emphasized that showcasing the beauty of Thai orchids allowed the Thai community in Singapore to take pride in the cultural heritage of their country and demonstrated the unity of Thais living abroad. Furthermore, the exhibition also helped promote the potential of the Thai orchid industry, a major export of Thailand with Singapore being one of the leading importers.
