Announcement

The Royal Thai Embassy wishes to inform that the Electronic Visa Application (EVA) is currently unavailable due to technical problems. 

 

Kindly follow the instructions below for visa applications from 25 July 2019;

(1) For applicants who have already submitted their online applications but have yet to be contacted to submit their passports for further process, 

please re-submit 1 set of completed application form with applicant’s signature and supporting documents in person* at the Royal Thai Embassy between 0915-1130 hours. (Monday-Friday, except Embassy’s Public Holidays) and visa will be issued within 2 working days.**    

 

(a) For Chinese (applying for Tourist and Transit Visa) and Nigerian passport holders, please re-submit 2 sets of application forms with applicant’s signature and 1 set of supporting documents and apply in person ONLY

(b) For Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Cameroon, China (for Non-Immigrant Visa applicant only), Central Africa Republic, Congo, Congo DRC, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Guinea, India, Iraq, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Nepal, North Korea, Pakistan, Palestine, Sao Tome and Principe, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen’s passport holders, please submit 3 sets of application forms with applicant’s signature and 1 set of supporting documents.

 

(2) For new applicants, please follow the instructions at http://www.thaiembassy.sg/visa-matters-/-consular/instructions-for-visa-... and submit your application at the Royal Thai Embassy between 0915-1130 hours. (Monday-Friday, except Embassy’s Public Holidays)     

Processing time: 3 - 5 working days. However, processing time will be longer for those who (1) apply via an application agency (10 working days), (2) apply for O-A visa (7 working days), (3) are required an approval from the authorities concerned in Thailand (4-6 weeks).

 

Collection Time for (1) and (2) 1400-1500 hours only. (Monday-Friday, except Embassy’s Public Holidays)     

 

* All Passport holders except those stated in (a) and Taiwan’s (non-residents) may authorise a representative to apply on their behalf (the representative must bring a letter of authorisation and a copy of his/her identity card).
