Registration of Marriage

**For Thai national residing in Singapore only**

Step 1: Prepare the required documents for Marriage Registration under Thai laws at the Royal Thai Embassy

• For Thai nationals

• 1 copy of Thai Passport
• 1 copy of Thai Identification Card 
• 1 copy of House Registration
• 1 copy of Work Permit / PR or any identification card in Singapore
• 1 copy of Divorce Certificate (if any)

• For foreigners

• 1 copy of foreign's Passport*
• Marriage Status Certificate from your country* 
• 1 copy of Work Pass / PR or any identification card in Singapore
• 1 copy of Divorce Certificate (if any)

* All documents from the above have to be legalized and certified from the authority concerned. click here for information   

• For witness (2 Thai witnesses required)

• 1 copy of Thai passport of each witness
• 1 copy of Thai Identification Card of each witness

Step 2: Contact the Embassy to make an appointment 

• Make an appointment 2 weeks in advance to do the Marriage Registration
• Submission during Consular Working Hours: Monday - Thursday, 9.30 - 11.30 hrs.

Step 3: Visit the Royal Thai Embassy

• Visit Counter 1 personally with the above mentioned documents
