On 19 July 2025, H.E. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, hosted and delivered the opening remarks at “Enchanting Thailand: A Journey of Wellness, Culture & Connectivity”, an event aimed at promoting Thailand’s potential in wellness tourism. The event was jointly organised by the Royal Thai Embassy and the Career Women’s Group of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI), with the support of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Singapore Office) and the Thai Trade Office in Singapore.

On this occasion, the Embassy was honoured to welcome Dr. Tanupol Virunhagarun, CEO of BDMS Wellness Clinic and BDMS Wellness Resort, as a keynote speaker. Dr. Tanupol delivered a special presentation on preventive medicine and wellness tourism, two high-potential sectors in Thailand’s evolving health and tourism industries.

The event also featured a product showcase by a variety of Thai entrepreneurs. Thai SELECT-certified restaurants presented authentic Thai dishes and desserts, while other exhibitors showcased Thai cultural products, contemporary fashion, jewelry, and premium handcrafted chocolates—demonstrating Thailand’s rich identity and modern creativity.

The event attracted strong interest from professionals across Singaporean society, particularly career women and business leaders, who represent a key target group for promoting Thailand’s modern lifestyle, quality tourism offerings, and wellness-oriented image.
