On 26 September 2013, Mr.Marut Jitpatima, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, gave a Welcoming Remarks to the participants of Samui Road Show organized by Tourism Authority of Thailand Office in Singapore at the Mandarin Orchard, where he was warmly welcomed by Ms. Kanokkittika Kritwutikon, Director.

Samui Road Show is an event to showcase the beautiful and amazing tourist attractions of Samui Island in Surat Thani Province to the tour operators and agencies in Singapore. In addition, it provided as an excellent opportunity for the business matchmakings for the visiting tourism sector of Samui Island from Thailand, such as the Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited and Tourism Association of Koh Samui, with a view to promoting further business related tourism in Samui Island. Koh Samui or Samui Island is considered as one of the top-rated tourist attractions in Thailand for Singaporean tourists to enjoy relaxing holidays with family and adventures with friends.
