On Sunday 29 September 2013, 10.00 – 17.00 hrs, the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore conducted the annual physical and mental health check-up programme at the Royal Thai Embassy on Orchard Road. The Red Cross Society’s team of twelve persons from Thailand provided health check-up service for the Thai community in Singapore. Around 300 Thai nationals participated in the programme, the majority of which are Thai workers in Singapore. This event has been warmly supported by the Office of Labour Affairs in Singapore in advertising the health check-up through the Thai Labour Volunteers’ network, Thai workers’ dormitories, and at Golden Mile Complex; as well as the Thai Labour Volunteers who tirelessly helped facilitate Thai nationals during the programme.
