Royal Thai Embassy visited Thai workers' dormitories in Singapore

The Royal Thai Embassy, Singapore, attaches importance to the well-being and welfare of Thais in Singapore, including Thai labours. Mr. Nipon Petchpornprapas, Minister Counselor, and Mrs. Thanaporn Siritemkul, Minister Counselor (Labour Affairs), in cooperation with Thai Labour’s Volunteers, paid monthly visits to Thai workers at Soon Lee Lodge Dormitory on 11 September 2013 and at Westlite Tuas Lodge 1 Dormitory on 9 October 2013, between 20.00 – 22.00 hrs. Around 75 and 120 Thai workers joined the activities, respectively.
On this occasion, the team provided the workers with consular service information, sports equipment, blood pressure check-up, and consultation service on workers’ rights, laws and regulations in Singapore, and how to stay healthy, which has been well attended by Thai workers at the dormitories.
