On July 16, 2024, H.E. Mr. Cao Zhongming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Singapore, paid a courtesy call to H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, at the Ambassador’s residence upon the assumption of his duty.
Both sides reaffirmed the cordial relationship between Thailand and China reflected by the continuous exchanges of high-level visits between the two countries as well as the close economic relations in terms of trade, investment and tourism.
The two Ambassadors also exchanged views on other important issues, such as connectivity promotion, cooperation through international frameworks, the two countries’ bilateral relations with Singapore, Singapore’s political developments and current geopolitical challenges.
