On February 26, 2024, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador-Designated of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Singapore arrived in Singapore, and was warmly welcomed by ASEAN Ambassadors, High Comissioners, and Chargé d'Affaires, along with representatives from the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand.
On this occasion, Ambassador Ureerat Chareontoh received a warm welcome from H.E. Mr Sengkeo Pouangpadith, Ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, H.E. Mr Sok Khoeun, Ambassador of the Cambodia, H.E. Medardo Antonio Gonzales Macaraig, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines, H.E. Mr. Mai Phuoc Dung, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, and Mr. Zaw Zaw Soe, Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. During the occasion, they discussed ways to further strengthen the already established ASEAN relationship and cooperation.
Additionally, Ambassador Ureerat Chareontoh, along with Captain Thammarat Tiabtiam, Defence and Naval Attaché, Mrs. Natama Koonpol, Minister Counsellor (Commercial), Mr. Wutthisak Pathomsart, Minister Counsellor (Labour), and Mrs. Kulpramote Wannalert, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Singapore Office, discussed ways to strengthen the Thailand-Singapore relationship in the future. Their discussions encompassed various aspects such as enhancing economic prosperity, strengthening security measures, and promoting tourism, with a particular emphasis on engaging with the public.
