On 31 January 2024, Mrs. Chonlatee Chanrachakul, Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. presided over a reception on the occasion of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Day, organised by the Office of the Defence Attaché of the Kingdom of Thailand at the Royal Thai Embassy, Singapore.

 

Mrs. Chanrachakul reiterated the close and cordial ties between the Royal Thai Armed Forces and Singapore Armed Forces through various bilateral and multilateral cooperation frameworks, military training exercises and regular exchanges of visits, which has become an important foundation of the strong partnership between the two countries.

The Royal Thai Embassy was honoured to have Major General David Neo, Chief of Army of Singapore as the Guest of Honour. There were more than 150 representatives from MINDEF, Singapore Armed Forces, foreign Defence Attachés and members of the Team Thailand in Singapore attended the reception.

The Royal Thai Armed Forces Day is celebrated annually on 18 January to commemorate the bravery and sacrifices of our ancestors and armed forces in protecting the Thai nation.
