The Royal Thai Embassy, Singapore, and Tan Tock Seng Hospital co-organised “Live Healthy: Live Life – Celebrating Women’s Health” event on Saturday 16 March 2013, with free health talks and healthcare checkups for Thai women at the Royal Thai Embassy, Singapore. 

The event, chaired by Mdm Jiraporn Jitpatima, spouse of H.E. Marut Jitpatima, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, aims at raising health awareness amongst the Thai women community in Singapore, especially on women’s risk towards breast cancer, with talks provided by medical specialists from Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Other activities also include free general and dental checkups, exercise classes, and consultation on Chinese medicine as a supplement to modern medicine.

The event is the first of its kind at the Royal Thai Embassy, Singapore, which receive an overwhelming support and interest from the Thai women community with approximately 100 participants turning up on that day.
