The Royal Thai Embassy, Singapore, and the Heritage Car Club of Singapore held a charitable car wash event on Sunday 17 March 2013, with 20 cub scouts washing 15 heritage cars as well as the Embassy’s cars, including the Ambassador’s car, in return for donations, as a part of their fundraising efforts during the Singapore Scout Association’s Annual Job Week.

A series of community service, including the kick-off cleaning activities at the Residence of the President of Singapore earlier this week and the car wash event at the Royal Thai Embassy, aim to raise SG$810,000 for scout activities such as camps and an international jamboree. Some 10,000 scouts will continue to go door to door seeking jobs in home and offices until the end of this week.
