On 19 June 2026, Mrs. Waraphannee Damrongmanee, Ambassador-designate of Thailand to Singapore, received a courtesy call from Capt. Thammarat Tiabtiam, Defence Naval Attaché, COL. Mongkol Thupchai, Army Attaché, and GP. CAPT. Jakrawut Srisuwan, Air Attaché.

The Defence Attachés called on the Ambassador-designate to congratulate her on her appointment and to discuss the overall Thailand–Singapore defence relationship, cooperation among the armed services of both countries, and ways to further strengthen existing defence cooperation, particularly in addressing emerging security challenges posed by modern technologies.
