On the occasion of His Majesty the King's birthday on 28 July 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore organized a Buddhist chanting and merit-making ceremony (Sangkhathan offering) at Wat Ananda Metyarama, Singapore, as well as a royal tribute offering ceremony, a well-wishes candle lighting ceremony and a signing ceremony in the book of well-wishes, all held at the Embassy. Participants also took an oath to be good civil servants and a force for the nation. These events were presided over by H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, and attended by officials from the Embassy and Team Thailand agencies in Singapore and their spouses.
