On 24-25 May 2025, The Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore hosted "Muay Thai Festival 2025", a major highlight of the Thai Festival 2025. Co-organized with Eminent Fighting Championship (EFC) Singapore, the event powerfully showcased Muay Thai as a cherished traditional martial art and a symbol of Thai culture.

On this occasion, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, presided over a thrilling evening of professional bouts. A historic moment was made with the first-ever World Professional Muay Thai Federation (WPMF) Title hosted in Singapore, alongside other prestigious title fights, namely World Boxing Council (WBC) Nai Khanom Tom Belt and WBC Muay Thai Ying Belt.

This festival was unique as the Royal Thai Embassy became the only embassy in Singapore to host a professional Muay Thai competition within its own facility, underscoring its pioneering approach to cultural and sports diplomacy.

The celebration continued on Sunday, May 25th, with engaging cultural activities including Wai Kru and traditional Muay Thai demonstrations on the main stage of the Thai Festival, and interactive pad work and workshops for enthusiasts.

The success was greatly supported by international organizations like WBC Muaythai and WPMF. The Royal Thai Embassy extends its sincere gratitude to all partners and the public who contributed to making this event a resounding success in promoting Thailand's invaluable cultural heritage.
